Intuitive Eating is a framework based on ten principles that can help you improve your relationship with food and your body. It rejects diet culture and helps you relearn how to listen to and trust internal cues of hunger, fullness, and satisfaction rather than following external diet rules. If you have a history of frequent dieting, are tired of counting or tracking every bite or movement, have a difficult relationship with food, a long list of "good" and "bad" foods, describe yourself as an emotional eater, struggle with body image, or equate health with the size of your body, Intuitive Eating could help you stop the food fight, drop the guilt, and find your balance. This session is designed to help you understand what Intuitive Eating is and what it is not. In this mostly demonstration style cooking class you will get:

  • Recipes inspired by the flavors of Korea, the Middle East, and Mexico

  • Tips for preparing rice

  • Recommendations on how to balance rice bowls for increased meal satisfaction and nutrient density
