Amber Hanson,

LN, CNS

Amber Hanson is a licensed nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Specialist® practitioner, and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor with a passion for food and cooking. She founded Whole You Nutrition in 2018 to offer the weight-inclusive nutrition support she wishes she had access to as a person who lives in a larger body.

Amber likes helping people with a history of dieting and body image struggles find peace with food and body using an anti-diet gentle nutrition approach based on the principles of Intuitive Eating.

She enjoys digging into the details of each client’s unique health history and day-to-day reality to help them find pleasure in food, let go of body shame, and nourish their well-being.

Amber knows a person is not just a number on the scale, a medical diagnosis, a job title, or a relationship status. She meets each client where they are, without judgement, to empower them to live their best life.

She sees clients in-person and virtually from a private office in Minneapolis, MN.

Prior to entering the field of nutrition, Amber centered her career around food as a chef, food product developer, recipe developer, and food stylist. Her passion for food and cooking still carries over to her work as a nutritionist where she continues to develop new recipes that she shares on the website.

Amber's education includes a Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition from Northeast College of Health Sciences, a BS in Food Science and Nutrition Dietetics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and AAS in Culinary Arts from AI Minnesota.

When Amber isn’t working with clients you can find her cooking and baking in her kitchen, sewing or crafting, reading a book (a healthy balance of thrillers, romance, and the more literary), or hiking in the woods.
